About Us

The Embroiderers’ Guild was founded in London in 1906. You can find a fuller history of the Guild at the Embroiderers’ Guild.

The Bristol branch was founded in 1981 and has over 100 members. We meet once a month on a Friday at All Saints’ Church Hall, Alma Vale Road, Clifton, Bristol at 7.30 P.M. We have a speaker to most of our meetings. We also have workshops on one Saturday during most months of the year. Meet and stitch meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. We also hold a biennial exhibition.

Fees:

Annual Membership £27 – due on September 1st

Lectures – Members £2.00

Lectures – Non Members £2.50

Workshop £20 per day

Meet & Stitch £3.00
