Exhibition February 2008

March 15, 2008

Every two years we hold an exhibition of members’ work. This is an open exhibition and all members are encouraged to take part. It is a good chance to see the embroidery in all its forms, from exquisite, traditional pieces to experimental and mixed media work. They can be original works of art or taken from magazine articles or kits – the important thing is the love of stitch. We also have a table to sell smaller handmade items such as bags, scarves and jewellery.

This year’s exhibition was very successful , we had around 750 visitors and have gained 29 new members.
